01 · Phone

On your phone

Add Prohor to your Home Screen from your browser. It opens full screen, with no address bar.

Safari

iPhone and iPad

  1. Open app.prohor.day in Safari.

  2. Tap Share. If it isn't in the toolbar, tap the three dots first.

  3. Tap Add to Home Screen. It may be further down the list.

  4. If you see Open as Web App, leave it on. Tap Add.

  5. Open Prohor from its new icon on your Home Screen, and sign in there.

The installed app doesn't share Safari's login, so you'll sign in once more. Chrome and Edge on iPhone and iPad can install it too, from their Share menu.

Chrome

Android

  1. Open app.prohor.day in Chrome.

  2. Tap the menu at the top right.

  3. Tap Add to home screen.

  4. Choose Install, not Create shortcut, then tap Install again to confirm.

  5. Open Prohor from your home screen or your app drawer.

Chrome may offer Install on its own, in a bar at the bottom of the page. That's the same thing. In Samsung Internet, open the menu and tap Add page to, then Home screen.

02 · Computer

On your computer

Chrome, Edge and Safari can install it. Prohor gets its own window, separate from your browser tabs, and a spot in the Dock or taskbar. Firefox can't install apps on desktop.

Chrome or Edge

Windows, Mac, Linux

  1. Open app.prohor.day in Chrome or Edge.

  2. Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar.

  3. Click Install.

  4. Prohor opens in its own window. Pin it to the taskbar or Dock to keep it one click away.

No install icon? In Chrome, open the menu and choose Cast, save, and share, then Install page as app. In Edge, open the menu and choose Apps, then Install this site as an app.

Safari

Mac

  1. Open app.prohor.day in Safari.

  2. In the menu bar, choose File, then Add to Dock.

  3. Click Add.

  4. Prohor opens in its own window, from the Dock or from Applications.

Safari can do this on macOS Sonoma or later. On an older Mac, use Chrome or Edge.

If it doesn't go to plan

Is Prohor in the App Store or Play Store?

No, and you don't need it to be. Prohor is a progressive web app (PWA): your browser installs it, the way a store would. Installed, it has its own icon and window, works offline, and keeps itself up to date.

I can't find Add to Home Screen or Install.

If you opened this page from a message, you may be in that app's built-in browser, which can't install anything. Open the link in Safari or Chrome instead.

Private and incognito windows can't install either. Firefox can't on most computers yet, so use Chrome, Edge or Safari there.

Do my phone and computer stay in sync?

Yes. Your time is kept in your account, not on the device, so install Prohor on both and sign in on each. Anything you track offline syncs when you're back.

Do I need an invite?

To sign in, yes. Accounts are invite-only during early access. If you are not in yet, request access on the front page.

How do I remove it?

Like any other app. On a phone, press and hold the icon and choose Remove App or Uninstall. On a computer, open Prohor's menu in its title bar and choose Uninstall, or on a Mac with Safari, delete it from the Applications folder in your home folder.

Removing the app doesn't touch your account or anything you've tracked.
